Do you dream of the perfect wedding ring but can’t seem to find one that’s just right? Join us at Mitton Hall as you’re guided through the process of making your one-of-a-kind Wedding Band with the expert help of Rachel Elizabeth Wood.

A full day will be dedicated to learning the techniques needed to produce your dream piece with options of metal upgrades and added sparkle – what better way to celebrate your love and create a Wedding Ring that is completely bespoke and unique to you both.

THE DAY

9.30 am – Start & welcome with tea & coffee and pastries

10.00 am – Demonstration and design session with Rachel

1.00 pm – Afternoon tea

2.00 pm – Afternoon practical – perfecting your designs in wax

4.30 pm – Celebration of your work

Designing for wax carving

Properties of different forms of wax

Using wax carving tools to achieve your designs

Making finished wax carved masters ready to cast

All the tools and materials you need will be provided on the day

AFTERNOON TEA

Selection of freshly made sandwiches, yummy cakes, scones with jam & cream, all served on a traditional carousel with tea or filter coffee. Locally sourced and homemade.

PRECIOUS METAL UPGRADES

Your rings will be made in sterling silver which is included in the cost of the day. We do offer a precious metal upgrade service where you will have the choice of 9ct & 18ct yellow or white gold, platinum and rose gold. We will weigh the waxes at the end of the day and give you the price differences. You don’t have to make the decision as to whether you want to upgrade until this time.

SHAPED BANDS TO FIT AROUND AN ENGAGEMENT RING

On the day we can help you make a wedding band to fit closer to your engagement ring.

ADD SOME SPARKLE

Precious and semi-precious stones can be incorporated once your rings have been cast in precious metal.
