This year’s Octoberfest celebrations at Holmes Mill sees the return of The amazing Bavarian Stompers presenting two evenings of riotous fun. The tremendous vitality and enthusiasm of this act is so infectious that an atmosphere of insobriety is immediately created with maximum audience participation.
Tickets are £22.50 per person and include entertainment, a stein of Dortmunder Vier and sausages, breads heaps of bread, ketchups, mustards, onions and sauerkraut.

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest volksfest, that’s a beer festival and travelling fun fair to you and i held annually in Munich, Germany, it is a 16-18 day folk festival running from mid September to the first weekend in October, with more than six million people from around the world attending the event every year. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810. Visitors are invited to drink beer by the litre, eat traditional Bavarian food such as pretzels, wurstl (sausages) and sauerkraut and listen to live bands playing traditional Bavarian music.
