We are very excited to be working with Manchester’s Frog and Bucket Comedy Club to bring you another night of fantastic comedy! The comedians joining us will be as follows:
Pete Otway presents
Since his first gig in 2010, Pete Otway has established himself quickly as a natural and original comic, known for mixing a razor sharp wit with an affable charm and creative writing.
After making it to the finals of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2012, he was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of Just The Tonic’s prestigious Big Value Showcase in 2013.
Whilst regularly appearing at some of the biggest and best comedy clubs across the UK, both as an MC and an act, Pete has also performed at large festivals such as the Isle Of Wight, gigged across Europe and provided support for touring acts such as Doc Brown.
“Brilliant. Very very funny”
– Steve Wright, BBC Radio 2
Will Duggan has been performing comedy since 2009 and since then has cemented himself as a dynamic and interesting performer in comedy clubs around the country. Will mixes stories and gags with a cheerfully cynical view of the world.
In 2012 Will was nominated for the Best MC award at the Nottingham Comedy Festival as well as reaching the final of the Frog and Bucket World Series 2012, Birmingham Comedian of the Year, Preston Comedian of the year and Hull comedian of the year. He has no loyalty to geography!
Is the outsider’s outsider, a taboo breaking story teller dealing with subjects other comics other wince at with a cheeky chatty style that makes it all surprisingly accessible this Goth, lesbian, trans comedian is nothing short of utterly unique.
Bethany has performed at numerous Edinburgh shows and she has supported many popular acts such as Mick Miller and got great reviews from critics, encouraging her progression as a comedian. Touching on very real and often incorporating the ‘shock factor’.
A brilliant natural comedian, Scottish comedian of the year winner Paul Pirie comes packed full of energy and uses every ounce to maximum effect, with superb delivery.
