Beer Club Event
25th January 2018 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Every couple of months we host a Beer Club event for our Beer Club members.
We kick off 2018 with an opportunity to meet the Bowland Brewery brewers and Clare Brownlow of Pheasant Feather Art, the artist who painted all the characters for our brands.
The event will take place in the Chimney Room and is an informal opportunity to enjoy tastings, and the opportunity to find out a bit more about these local breweries.
Bowland Brewery & Clare Brownlow
Arrival from 7pm, the event will start at 7.30pm
Tony, our tour guide, will tell the story of why our popular AONB ale was renamed Boxer Blonde to bring it in to the core range. He will discuss the brewing process, the ingredients and this will be followed by tasters of the product and an opportunity to chat to the brewers.
Tony will then introduce Clare Brownlow, the renowned wildlife artist commissioned by the Brewery to design the distinctive characters for our core beer range. She will speak about how she approaches a new commission, her technique and demonstrate her technique. Budding artists will have the opportunity to try the technique for themselves too.
This will then be followed by an informal Q&A session.
Free to attend but please pre-register below.
